It was back to the beach again last night as the weather was glorious. Hayling is actually a pebble beach but at low tide you get some sand which is great.

I was lucky to have my work bestie come see me for a beach picnic and to check I've not gone entirely insane from not doing much thanks to my ongoing back woes. So it was lovely to get out of the house for it and just relax by the water; one of my favourite things.

Yesterday I put my big girl pants on and bravely took myself off to a 'Paint Your Pet' event. It was not easy but it was fun, and it was nice to have some time to zone out and do something creative. Also feeling very proud of myself for getting over my mild terror at flying solo to this sort of thing.

Paige at is a fab teacher who really put me at ease, offered practical advice and tips of how to achieve a painting that actually resembled my beloved dog. Can't recommend this event enough.

Because on a beautiful sunny day I wish I was in Cornwall and am very envious of holiday (maybe not the choppy ferry though!).

Myttin dah, according to my Teach Your Dog Cornish book by Anne Cakebread (cool surname and why not teach him Cornish, he doesn't listen in any other language), it means good morning and the ah in day is pronounced as 'ah' as in the a in father.

Bit of writing in some sand on a very slow going dog walk with my friend and her three dogs. Small achievement but now my and my sciatica are doing for a snooze. It did feel good to get a dose of vitamin sea, loving living near the sea 🥰
