🚂 STEAM POWER RETURNS TO HATHERLEIGH COUNTRY FAIR! 🚂

We’re delighted to welcome a magnificent piece of British engineering history to this year’s Hatherleigh Country Fair – the 1938 Marshall Steam Engine, Works No. 88360.

Built in 1938 by the renowned Marshall, Sons & Co. of Gainsborough, this beautifully preserved steam engine represents the golden age of steam-powered agriculture and transport. A true crowd favourite, you’ll be able to see this incredible machine up close, hear the distinctive sound of steam in action, and admire the craftsmanship that kept Britain moving for generations.

Whether you’re a steam enthusiast, a lover of vintage machinery, or simply looking for a fantastic family day out, this is an attraction not to be missed!

We’re looking for teams to take part in the Hatherleigh Country Fair Tug of War Competition – one of the most exciting and entertaining events of the day!
