It’s always a joy to welcome to Folk by the Oak 🫶

A gifted singer-songwriter, ambassador and much-loved festival friend, Eirra will be MCing the Acorn Stage again this year!

She has performed twice on our Acorn Stage and twice as part of The Willow Session in The Grove, and it’s been wonderful to watch her journey continue.

A self-taught musician making waves in the indie folk-pop scene, Eirra has gone from writing songs in her bedroom to supporting Ella Henderson at SMR 2025, gaining BBC Radio 1 airplay with “Mona Lisa”, and releasing her debut EP Instructions Unclear last September.

Our fairies will be bringing a little extra magic to the Family Area this year, with plenty for younger Folk by the Oakers to enjoy.

Join in with fairy dancing, get creative with fairy crafts, and keep an eye out for Moonbeam the Unicorn, who’ll be making a very special appearance 🦄

All ages & abilities welcome 😊

Ben is a singer and composer who runs the South London-based , and previously led our two sell-out Spell Songs Choral Songbook launch concerts at Sinfonia Smith Square last autumn.

To celebrate, we’re looking back at our very first Folk by the Oak in 2008 - when we first fulfilled our dream of bringing together some of the wonderful musicians we had long admired 🎶
