Meet Miss Angela
Founder, teacher and the heart behind Herts Dance Studio.
Growing up in South Africa as part of a dance family, Angela trained in ballet, modern and contemporary dance to a professional level. Those years shaped not only her love of dance, but her belief in just how much the right training and environment can give a young person.
After years of training and experience within the dance industry, Angela opened Herts Dance Studio in January 2023, bringing a lifelong dream to life.
Her vision was to create more than somewhere to learn steps and technique. She wanted HDS to feel like a true dance home — a place where dancers receive exceptional training, feel genuinely seen and supported, and are encouraged to become confident, capable individuals both inside and outside the studio.
Angela is a professional, registered dance teacher affiliated with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Rambert Grades and American Academy of Ballet. She is also First Aid and safeguarding trained and holds an enhanced DBS.
Nearly four years on, that original vision is still at the heart of everything we do.
A studio built from a lifelong love of dance, and a community we’re incredibly proud of.
And as HDS continues to grow, so does the team behind it…
