🎞 NEW SEASON! Coming this July...

🌊 Mark Jenkin’s west country-set, off-kilter features are very distinct, but explore common themes. We're showing three of them this July. This year’s ROSE OF NEVADA sees two fishermen locked in a time loop, BAIT explores tourism and family conflict through 16mm monochrome, while ENYS MEN is a rural, mind-bending folk horror.

💀 Jenkin explores gentrification, fishing communities, displacement, and magickal weirdness. Sound famliar, Hastings?

⚓ Rose of Nevada
Thu 2 11am (subtitled), Sat 4 7.30pm, Sat 18 3pm (relaxed)
The third film in Mark Jenkin’s Cornish trilogy, this time-slipping, unsettling ghost ship story explores a claustrophobic coastal community.

🐟 Bait
Thu 2 7.30pm
Bait was our first taste of Mark Jenkin’s dreamlike style. A poetic, tense dissection of the DFLs-meet-Cornish-locals culture clash.

🌺 Enys Men
Sun 12 7.30pm
The uncanny, middle film in Mark Jenkin’s Cornish trilogy. A lone island wildlife volunteer is haunted by the past and consumed by the landscape.
