The 11 week countdown has begun until you flock to the East Hastings angling association and we try to drink there pumps dry, until some of the best rockabilly bands in the uk hit the stage, we listen to rockabilly records, dance until we can’t breathe, and plenty of American and custom cars take over the stade, yes that’s it, the Hastings Hot Rod & Roll is back to take over Hastings old town for its yearly big event, this time it’s a Friday eve record hop, Saturday main day with bands, dj’s, and the usual big classic American/custom car show, and Sunday lunchtime/eve record hop. Also Past 'N' Curious have started taking bookings for cars, just over 20 had booked in within the first hour of it being advertised on there page so you wanna book your cars in for the show get in touch with them as there is limited space on the stade car park.

We can now confirm that Sunday June 14th will be added to our Hastings Hot Rod and Roll event, giving us a whole weekend of bands and DJs all at the Angling Club. Friday will be our pre party warm up with a record hop from 6pm till late, followed by the main event on Saturday with our Classic and custom car show alongside the venue, hosted by our friends Past and Curious. Then on Sunday the venue will be open for breakfasts and Sunday Lunch with DJs playing till 5pm. So you can book a long weekend and drift home on Sunday after a belting weekend of HASTINGS HOT ROD & ROLL! And it’s all free, but please buy a shirt from our merch stall or chuck a few quid in the bucket to help pay the bands and DJs. We will also be passing a bucket around to cover a donation to charity.

Why not book a hotel in Hastings now for a couple of nights, a great time of year for a sunny sea side break and some HOT ROD & ROLL! We’ll post details of local hotels very soon.

We’re very excited to be able to announce the line up for the Saturday 13th of Junes Hastings Hot Rod & Roll! We’ll be joined again by the Past and Curious classic car show next door at the Stade and we’ll be hosting the hottest bands and dj’s up in the the East Hastings Angling Association venue.
We’ll be warming up on Friday 12th of June for a pre party record hop in the same venue. This is open to all, and as always with our Hastings Hot Rod & Roll it’s FREE so you can spend your hard earned cash at the bar and the chippie. We’ll be bringing you updates here on our FB and Instagram pages so please follow us and join the events page. We’re hoping to also have an event on Sunday the 14th which will be a late afternoon/early evening event so stay tuned, SAME HOT ROD N ROLL TIME, SAME HOT ROD N ROLL CHANNEL!
