We're so pleased to announce that local artist Angenita Teekens will join Wise Ram Theatre as project manager for Green Creative Connections Tendring this summer and autumn. 💚
If you live in Tendring you are very likely to have come across some of Angenita's work before and we are thrilled she's joining us for this project.
ANGENITA TEEKENS
Angenita Teekens is an established artist with over 30 years’ experience in facilitating community art projects. She studied at the Art academy in Tilburg, Netherlands, gaining a teaching qualification in Art, Design and Dutch. Later she obtained a Master’s degree in Sculptural Practice from the University of Essex.
As a free-lance community artist she works with galleries, schools, local community groups and charities. Facilitating workshops for all abilities, ages and backgrounds. She has fundraised for, and managed creative projects for charities.
She is convinced that the way forward to a socially just, environmentally sustainable and happier world is achieved by using creativity to connect people to their communities and natural environment. Angenita likes community making, joining dots and making connections between people and organizations.
Angenita works free-lance and is based in Tendring, Essex.
