Dovercourt Theatre Group Amateur theatre group open to ages 16+. Our home is behind the former Harwich Magistrates Court, access on foot via Manor Lane off Highfield Avenue.

Here we go! Work has started on our next production and here are some of the workers. Our next production is Caught in the Net and runs from 22nd to 25th April at the Studio in Manor lane.

DTG to hold open auditions

If you’ve ever thought you might like to try acting now is your chance. DTG are planning an open audition on Tuesday 12th August at our studio where we will be looking to cast our winter production:

‘Caught in the Net’ by Ray Cooney

The roles available are as follows:

Two Male (30-50)
Two Female (30-50)
One Male (60-80)
One Male (16-25)
One Female (16-25)

We are particularly looking for someone who could fulfil the young female role, however none of the other roles have yet been cast so we encourage anyone interested to audition.

If cast, you must be available to perform every night of the week beginning 17th November and attend regular rehearsals over the coming months every Tuesday and Friday.

If you are interested in joining us please either contact us on Facebook, call 07421 056814 or simply come along on Tuesday 12th August to our studio off manor lane for a 7.30pm start.
