We have given several hundred hours airtime to charities and community organizations. We have been the first station for many local musicians
to get airplay and continue to do so. Our presenting team are volunteers who we have given professional training, entirely free of charge. Some have had previous experience either on hospital radio or other community stations. Some are entirely new to broadcasting and it's a pleasure to hear them develop their skills. Music Submissions - before submitting please listen to the station to give you an idea of what we play. We tend to play songs that you will find in the Top 50 airplay chart although we do also play local music in our show, The Northern Beat.
