With a sad face we have had to cancel Gamecon for this year. With the current situation we had to make the call to protect our staff and visitors. If any situation changes we will review this and inform you via this page.

GameCon, now in its fourth year, has raised over 3000 since its first event and is ran and organised primarily by the students at the college. The event is open to the public and offers gamers of all ages the opportunity to play both modern and retro games consoles across three days along with gamin

We’re happy to report we bested 2017 as you helped us raise an incredible £1215.67 for Changing Futures North East!

We hope you had fun playing games, meeting other gamers, winning prizes, cosplaying and meeting our guests! We now look forward to seeing you here at Hartlepool College next year! And don’t forget to visit Tea-at-Hart for more gaming throughout the year!

Many thanks to everyone that attended or watched GameCon this year. A truly stunning 3 days. Our students have loved every minute supporting you all and we had so much fun!

We’ll be announcing our total takings for Changing Futures next week. But until then, it’s goodbye from us for another year. We‘re already looking forward to making GameCon 2019 even better!
