We would like to take a moment to properly address the concerns raised regarding certain items that were previously available in our prize shop.
The items in question were replica ornamental products only, with all blades fully blunted and intended purely for display purposes and LARP/re-enactment events. These types of items can also be legally purchased online from various retailers across the UK for these purposes.

โข Anyone purchasing these items was required to complete a form at the time of purchase
โข Clear notices were displayed next to these items explaining all restrictions and policies
However, after listening to the concerns raised and reflecting on the current sentiment across the UK, we completely understand why some people may have felt uncomfortable seeing these items available within our prize shop.
As a family-run business, our prize shop has always been about giving people of all ages something fun to work towards โ whether thatโs saving tickets for sweets, toys, collectibles, props, or something special theyโve had their eye on for a while. We always want our venue to feel welcoming, safe and enjoyable for everyone who visits us.
With that in mind, we have now made the decision to remove these items from sale entirely.
We sincerely apologise for any upset or concern caused.
