🌈 ✨VOLUNTEER AT HARTLEPOOL PRIDE ✨🌈

Hartlepool Pride 2026 is just around the corner and WE NEED YOU to help bring the celebrations to life! Applications are now open to volunteer as part of this year's event on Saturday 13th June. Whether you’re returning or thinking of joining our volunteer team for the first time, we’re so grateful you want to contribute.

Our On-The-Day volunteers support in a variety of roles like:
👷‍♀️Parade Stewards
🏳️‍🌈Welcoming Team
🎈Decor Champions
✨Fundraisers
And so much more

By volunteering with Hartlepool Pride, you’ll be helping to spread messages around LGBTQIA+ equality, activism, unity, and human rights. You’ll get to participate in a grass roots led LGBTQIA+ Pride celebration, and, if that wasn’t exciting enough, you’ll get to do all of that while making friends and connections in the community.

Roll On Thursday - rolling program of creative loveliness 6-8pm at BloomInArt studios.
First up 28th May - Up-cycle your jars - create your own designs or use existing patterns and fuse onto any glass jar.

£30 per session plus material fee.

💥 FOLKS… WE NEED YOU 💥

Ever fancied being part of something MASSIVE?
Not just watching it… but actually helping make it happen?

This summer, WE are looking for 300+ volunteers to help bring Dominoes Newcastle to life; this is not your average volunteering gig!

🎯 Sunday 9 August
🎯 City centre takeover
🎯 Thousands of dominoes
🎯 One giant, spectacular chain reaction through the streets of Newcastle

This is Dominoes Newcastle by Station House Opera, the headline finale of NOVUM Summer Festival and it’s shaping up to be one of those “you had to be there” moments. And you could be right at the heart of it!

We’re talking:
✨ helping set up and manage the domino run
✨ being part of a city-wide artwork
✨ working with a brilliant team
✨ chatting to the public and soaking up the atmosphere
✨ gaining proper hands-on events experience

Opportunity is open to individuals, community groups, friends, businesses, couples etc.

No experience needed, just a friendly face, a bit of energy, and a “get stuck in” attitude.

This isn’t just volunteering; it’s an opportunity to be part of something BIG and joyful.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sacha Bedding Annexe . Sacha supported us from the very beginning; opened our minds to community work, turning our business on its head to ensure community voice was central to everything we do. He was passionate, dedicated and wasn't afraid to ask the awkward questions. His strong connection to place, of possibilities and far reaching ambition was contagious. Our thoughts are with his family and friends, and the community he so fiercely championed in D**e House.

He once told me I had a face for radio, think I might get a T-shirt printed.

Creative Teacher CPD with Throston Primary School

This session was all about giving staff the space to slow down, breathe and reconnect with their own creativity (and unwind ready for the Easter break)

Through free writing and working with clay, we provided space to Reflect, Recharge and Refresh - taking inspiration from birds and their unique traits.

There was no pressure and no expectations. Just time to learn, make and explore.

Every element of the session is easily transferable back into the classroom, supporting both teacher wellbeing and creative learning.
