We often use our concerts to fundraise for local charities and Catherine, one of our Sopranos, told us this story recently:

“When my daughter’s friend Ella was diagnosed at Easter it was a no brainer for me to suggest Candlelighters as the charity for our Midsummer Musicals concert on 19th June.

Ella's mum Laura told me "The Candlelighters are the sparkle when everything has collapsed in your life and the world seems dark.

They are the support, the comfort and the warmth when you’re in hospital.

They come see you everyday, without fail, asking if you need anything. They try their very best to support families in the best way they can when they need it the very most.

Without the Candlelighters it just wouldn’t be the same it’s a brilliant Charity and go above and beyond for families."

Please help us raise funds for this fantastic Charity that do so much for these families.

Rehearsals are in full swing preparing for our next concert Midsummer Musicals. This event is in support of
Candlelighters, a Yorkshire based charity supporting children with cancer and their families, celebrating 5️⃣0️⃣ AMAZING YEARS. We hope you will join us so that we can raise as much money as possible. Ticket price includes a glass of summer punch🥃, there wil be a⭐Golden Hamper⭐being raffled and, of course, spectacular singing! 🎶

What a truly wonderful afternoon we’ve had at Newby Hall and Gardens today! Thank you to everybody who gathered in the sunshine to enjoy our singing 🎶 Although there was a slight malfunction with the engine, that didn’t stop HTC singers getting on the train! 😂🚂
