We’re celebrating Sharon ’s photographs of life on the road with Noel Gallagher’s HFB.

It is five years since Latham’s landmark exhibition ‘A New World Blazing’ - the first to document Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, with over 40 images curated by Sharon and Noel.

Terry O’Neill captured The Beatles in the garden of Abbey Road Studios in London on July 1st 1963.

This first major group portrait, taken while recording “She Loves You” and its B-side “I’lI Get You,” captured the band before they accelerated into fame.

Artist Christian Furr, was born on this day in 1966. 

In 1995, aged 28, Christian Furr became the youngest artist to paint HM Queen Elizabeth II. 

Over the years, his desire to broaden his artistic language has led to well-received collaborations with other artists, including the legendary photographer Gered Mankowitz and renowned Kinks brothers, Dave Davies and Ray Davies.

‘I created ‘Homage To The Bee’ as a way of nodding back to my northern roots, and although it’s been many years since I have returned, I feel it in my soul, in my drive, my humour and mindset. I feel quite emotional really about Manchester and how it has changed, and also for the bee, and the decline of our insects.’
