Chiku story… Sadly there are some sad animal practices about and meerkats seem to be finding themselves up for sale at auctions . Meerkats are so unsuitable for being domestic pets. They like to live in their own pack and are extremely territorial. They also have exceedingly sharp teeth. They can kill cobras! They will chase you and can attack you if not handled by professionals. Fortunately for this little lady . A kindly couple saved her from a life destined to be in a parrot cage by a bidder at auction and reached out to us. We tried to introduce her to our pack but Naboo our little lady meerkat was having none of it. She is now safe ans sound and has integrated into our family. We hope to find her a meerkat friend real soon. But for now I think you’ll agree she is a happy girl .
