Oiwa and family are surrounded by the Black Hillocks hooligans! Oiwa is pinned to a log by an arrow. Solange is defending! Aiva is in danger of being r***d. Solan’s in the river and Marrow’s lost, almost certainly drowned. Their amazing journey continues … I’m resisting a ’Spoiler’ but it’s staggering ...

It's a long time since The First Wave came out. If you haven’t read that, I recommend you do, and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th waves. You will then be fully up to date with Shala becoming Aiva and the commencement of Oiwa’s dire adventures with his brothers, when he finally arrived in Orkney on 16th September 4004 BC.

It is really exciting now in Orkney!! The Tomb of the Eagles is open again. It’s from there this saga started, with Shala finding her amber nodule on Lee Holme's shore.

Bet you never realised pottery can feel very high stakes at times! I packed my comfort zone off for a day off whilst trying to achieve something that is much more difficult and nerve wracking than I had anticipated. But I feel like I may just get the results I envisioned. Fingers crossed.
