Larks - Batford Springs

It is with deep regret that Larks in the Park - Batford Springs has been cancelled for 2023.

Following the news earlier in the year that SADC were unable to help support this event financially, we at Batford Memorial Hall have worked tirelessly to try and raise the shortfall of funding but with limited success.

It’s sad that the event is over but please stay tuned as the Batford Memorial Hall volunteers are determined to continue to support the Batford community and we are hopeful that an alternative event to Larks in the Park and community classes we will soon be able to announce.

Larks in the Park

This popular event run over 5 sites in the St Albans District for many many years has unfortunately been cancelled by SADC due to funding cuts!

We, the Batford Memorial Hall, are keen for the event to continue for the residents of Batford and would love the support of you the local community.

In order for this event to go ahead we will need to raise a considerable amount of money and so we are reaching out to our wonderful local businesses to help us financially in terms of sponsorship.

We also need to know you all in our community are behind us in supporting the event.
