Harpenden Choral Society

Harpenden Choral Society Highly regarded amateur choir of around 75 members, performing a wide range of choral music. Harpenden Choral Society has about 90 members.

We give four local concerts a year, including a Carol Concert. The present Harpenden Choral Society was formed in 1975. Since then the choir has grown from strength to strength and our repertoire now includes most of the major choral works.

Thankyou to everyone who joined us for the final concert in our 50th Anniversary season on Saturday. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Thankyou as always to our wonderful conductor John Andrews, conductor, and our fantastic Soloists, Orchestra & Organist.

We now break for the summer but will be back rehearsing in September for our next performance, Bach's Christmas Oratorio on Saturday 14th November. If you would like to be part of this, and are not already in the choir, please come along to our annual taster evening on 8th September. Further details to follow.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday evening. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! It was lovely to sing to such a full church and thanks as ever to our wonderful Soloists, Orchestra and our amazing Musical Director John Andrews, conductor.

After a well earned Easter break we will start rehearsing for our Summer concert which is on Saturday 20th June. Put the date in your diary - ticket details to follow.
