It's two weeks until we come together to plumb the emotional depths of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6. premiered shortly before his death and his own attempt on his life.

I've spent a little time tidying up the website and changing the logo! The website and instagram are updated with the most up-to-date details and the images are all from our series of play days and people involved, i.e. Darren and Marina.

Take a look! Marina can be seen playing the Henriette Bosmans Violin Concerto with the Richmond Orchestra, it's a great work and she champions composers outside of the classical canon, especially women.

Good morning! If you're on the mailing list you will have seen the programme for this season. But here is a poster and one for the next play day which is on Sunday 28 September 2025. Please share widely, we have had a good sign up in certain wind seats but would benefit from:
- Strings - all!
- Flute - but would be doubling a chair
- Oboe or Cor
- Bass Clarinet + Alto Sax
- Bassoon 1
- Horn
- Tuba
- Percussion (inc. Timps)
- Keyboard (for Piano/Harp parts)
