We are delighted to read that our former Musical Director, Rufus Frowde, currently Artistic Director of the English Chamber Choir, has been honoured with an Associateship of the Royal Academy of Music.
He was Musical Director of The Hardynge Choir from 2011 - 2024 and this recognition of his contribution to what the Academy call the musical landscape is very well deserved!

The Academy today announces the alumni who will be conferred with Associateship of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) at a special ceremony in April. Alongside them, professionals who didn’t study at the Academy will be awarded Honorary Associateship of the Royal Academy of Music (Hon ARAM).

Our next concert will be on Saturday 28th March at St Nicholas Church, Harpenden. A special concert to celebrate 60 years of The Hardynge Choir bringing music to Harpenden and surrounding area - wonderful programme and soloists. Accompanied by Hertfordshire Classical Orchestra.
