'Sunflowers' work in progress video!
It took about a month to paint, just a small canvas, but required so much more fine detail, shading, and layers, than I first anticipated! I really enjoyed putting it together; painting often feels like each stroke of paint is another piece of a puzzle in place.

A selfie!
Really extraordinarily happy to be painting again! Its a habit I've managed to get myself back into, thankfully! Just one or 2 hours, most nights, music and painting, a zone of pure joy for me. To go from a black canvas to the picture in my mind, now realised on the canvas.
And how I love sunflowers!
I've grown them for several years now; their happy faces bring joy and excitement to my heart.

Origami Doll Greetings Cards! Otherwise known as paper ningyo, are handmade paper dolls, usually made with patterned Japanese Chiyogami paper which is often decorated with gold.
Here's a recent batch I made. It is such an enjoyable meditative process to put them together, and the final details of adding pressed flowers and glitter, and bows is just too kawaii.

Collecting and pressing flowers from the garden and on my danders, its always such a joy to preserve the colour pops and beautifulfiligreedetails of wild blooms.
I'll be using them for various future crafts!
Methodoly:
Collect a leaflet or flower;
Put between2 kitchen roll squares;
Place heavy books on top;
Uncover in about a month.
Gorgeouspreserved flowers, ready to go!
