The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year.

🌼 The sun is at its peak, nature is in full bloom, yet so many of us rush straight onto the next thing without pausing to notice how far we've come.

🌀 Vortex of the Forest was inspired by the hidden doorways that exist between worlds in faerie folklore.

The places tucked deep within ancient woods where the veil feels thin, reality softens, and something magical waits just beyond sight.

🦋 This piece represents the moment before transformation.

The moment you leave behind what is familiar and allow yourself to step into something new.

I wish I'd known this sooner 🌙

Your creativity isn't supposed to feel the same every day.

For years, I thought the answer was to push harder, and to be more disciplined.

To keep going even when inspiration had disappeared. But the harder I pushed, the further away creativity seemed to drift.

One of the biggest things I teach inside the studio is that creativity isn't something to force.

It isn't a machine, it ebbs and flows.

There are seasons where ideas arrive easily and artwork seems to create itself. There are also seasons for gathering inspiration, resting, reflecting and reconnecting with yourself.

🌊 June's theme, Mother Held by Tides, is all about learning to work with those natural rhythms instead of fighting them.

Throughout the month we'll be exploring this theme across all of our adult offerings:

🔮 Creative Journal: A cosy creative circle where art, magic and sisterhood meet. Using journaling, visualisation and intuitive creativity to explore the month's theme.

🎨 Creative Play: A playful art circle where creativity, experimentation and magic meet. Less pressure, more curiosity, more joy.

💃 Creatrix Collective: My mentorship space for women who want to deepen their creative practice, connect with the seasons, and weave more art, magic and whimsy into everyday life.

No forcing, or pushing through. Just permission to create in a way that feels nourishing, sustainable and true to you.

and some of the most magical moments happen when you stop trying to control the outcome and allow yourself to be led by wonder instead.

Infused with enchantment, intuition, and possibility, this trio is an invitation to soften your grip on certainty and follow what feels alive.

Who want to make art without worrying if it’s “good”

🌊 This month’s theme is Mother Held by Tides

Inspired by the mother archetype, Selene, moonlit waters, intuition, mermaids, seashells, nourishment and the ebb and flow of the ocean.

Expect experimental, intuitive art using paints, collage, layered papers, playful tools, magical materials and gentle prompts to help you loosen perfectionism and reconnect with your creativity.

No pressure, no perfect outcome, just exploration, expression and play

From tiny fairy houses to abstract artwork inspired by their own ideas ✨️

Our Spring Open Morning was a celebration of creativity, imagination, and all the beautiful work the kids & teens have created this season.

🧚‍♀️ The Pixies explored our theme of Fairy Dust, creating magical fairy homes on canvas and as 3D sculptures using acrylic, card, felt and mixed media

👩‍🎨 The Muses continued developing their own individual themes and learning how to abstract imagery into artwork, while exploring new materials, techniques and ideas completely led by their own creativity.

But more than that...

This space has always been about creating without the pressure of grades and outcomes. About making friends, building confidence, learning new skills, and having fun while doing it.

🩷 A few things the parents said:

“This is still Emily’s favourite club. You’ve got her forever I think”

“This is just the absolute dream for kids their age, and for everyone really!”

The Summer intake begins the first week of June and runs through to the end of August. Both Kids & Teens are now fully booked.
