☀️💜 All-Star Classes are reluctantly melting away until Friday… 🍦🥵

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast this week, we have made the difficult decision to pause All-Star classes until Friday, whilst we keep a close eye on conditions and venue temperatures.

We absolutely hate cancelling sessions and know how disappointing this is — especially as we love seeing our performers each week — however the safety and wellbeing of our children, young people and tutors must come first.

Unfortunately Britain isn’t quite built for heatwaves ☀️ and our usual high-energy dance, drama and performing arts sessions fall right in the hottest part of the day, making it difficult to run safely in school halls and community spaces.

As always, we build flexibility into our programme and will look at opportunities to make up rehearsal and performance preparation time where possible.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and support — stay cool, stay hydrated and maybe swap jazz hands for ice cream hands this week 🍦🕺

🐰🐣Easter Workshops!!🐣🐰
As part of our GROW project, we have Easter Workshops next week.
Please click on the "book a workshop' link at the bottom of the Web page. Please book one for each child.

They are available for 10 to 18 year olds, and are £5 a session, but please email [email protected] if you want to get involved but have a financial barrier, we can consider younger siblings with prior agreement, please email to enquire about this.

It is essential to book, as we will need to ensure we have adequate materials for all the participants.

There are limited spaces and are drop off at 10am, pickup at noon.

The aim of the workshops is to find our backstage crew.

Actors are also welcome, as we are casting for The Secret Garden still.

This will be performed in Halifax's very own Secret Garden, Lister Lane Cemetery. Also in part at People's Park Festival and at Halifax Playhouse, our beautiful community theatre.

Performance dates are 1st and 2nd August 2026. We are growing an edible set for the stage.

Workshops will be outdoors, and potentially muddy, so please provide suitable clothing. Snacks and squash/water will be provided.

✨ First day at our new school in York – St Aelred’s R.C. Primary School! ✨

It’s always exciting to welcome a new school into the All-Star family… but it’s even more special when we’ve been recommended 💜

A wonderful welcome to one of our newest tutor addition as well Miss Penny who has a wealth of knowledge in both Musical Theatre, Cheer and is currently working towards her PGCE, I’m certain she will be an asset to our team!
