We’re excited to announce our upcoming Landscape exhibition!

Opening on 23 September 2026 and running until 10 October 2026 at Open Gallery.

This vibrant exhibition brings together artists from across the UK, showcasing a diverse range of work including painting, sculpture, textiles, and photography. Each artwork reflects an individual response to the Landscape theme, inviting visitors to explore the beauty and diversity of the natural world through unique perspectives and creative expression.

All pieces will be available to purchase, making this a wonderful opportunity to acquire original work by contemporary artists while engaging with the themes of nature, place, and environment.

Last night, the Open Gallery bloomed with colour and life as we launched our Flora & Fauna exhibition, celebrating the beauty and diversity of the natural world through the amazing work of artists from across the UK.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the evening such a success, your enthusiasm and energy brought the exhibition to life.

Call for Artists: ‘The Landscape' Exhibition – September/October 2026.

Open Gallery invites UK-based artists to submit artworks centered on the theme of Landscape for our upcoming Exhibition in September/October. This open call welcomes a diverse range of contemporary practices across painting, print, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, with a focus on theme of landscape.

We’re seeking imaginative 2D and 3D artworks that celebrate the beauty and diversity of the natural world. The Landscape theme invites artists to capture the spirit of place, from sweeping vistas and rolling hills to expansive scenes, highlighting the dynamic relationship between land, sky, and the forces that shape them.

All artistic styles, concepts, and approaches are welcome; showcase your unique work!

Artists may submit original works in painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, jewellery, artists’ books, and other media and formats.

The exhibition runs from 23rd September to 10th October 2026.

Art for Wellbeing & Community Inclusion offers a series of creative workshops designed to help you relax, connect, and enjoy making art in a welcoming and supportive environment.

These sessions are open to all abilities, whether you’re completely new to art or looking to explore new techniques.

Join us on Saturdays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, running from 20th June to 8th August 2026.

Each week introduces a different creative process:

20th June – Textile Landscapes

27th June - Family Art

4th July – Gel Plate Printmaking

18th July – Crochet Tapestries

25th July – Collagraph Printmaking

1st August – Still Life

8th August – Watercolours
