We've been busy preparing for our Animaltastic Family Concert and it’s safe to say the music is already bringing plenty of animals to life!

From the playful mischief of Rossini’s The Thieving Magpie to the colourful characters of The Carnival of the Animals and the sweeping music from The Lion King, rehearsals have been full of energy, laughter and some brilliant playing.

Our Witches and Wizards concert is drawing ever closer - only three weeks to go! - and we're so excited to tell you about our next piece. We couldn't possible do a Witches and Wizards concert without... Selection from Wicked - Schwartz🧹

Did you know... Wicked is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz because it tells the backstory of Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (the Good Witch), exploring how their friendship and choices led to the events we see in The Wizard of Oz. It even explains how the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion came to be!
