So, COVID-19 has pretty much killed our business this year and as such, we must ditch the website as it costs too much. We can, however, still be found HERE so don't forget to LIKE our page so you can be updated when we are able to do spooky stuff again.

Jeff and I are currently re-thinking how we can afford to keep this all going (venue costs are ridiculous and, at the end of the day, like many of you - we just want a way to carry out our favourite hobby with like-minded people, without it breaking the bank.)

Our theatrical side will still continue - eventually - and information about this will also be posted here, including our St Wilfred's event, which will be more important than ever to raise vital funds for them.

We REALLY look forward to seeing you all soon, Diny and Jeff and the minions at Sussex Darkside.

I just thought I would cheer you all up with this amazing photo by Corin Spinks and Nils Nisse Visser at the Mermaid Inn. I think I can say that it's pretty much what we all hope to see when we go there 👻👻👻.
It is based on the story of the ghost of the chambermaid who had a Hawkhurst Gang fella as her boyfriend.
(Just to be clear - it's a re-enactment, not a real ghost)

Booking is open for Newhaven Fort Ghost hunt on 14th March. We need to sell 16 tickets to cover the venue cost, so if you would like to attend, please purchase your tickets before 8th March - if we haven't sold enough tickets by then, the event will not go ahead.

🤩Would you like to help raise some money for the amazing work St Wilfred's Hospice do?
👻 Do you fancy doing something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT?
Sussex Darkside are running a Scary Sleepover at the Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne on 27th March - that's right - ALL NIGHT 👻 in a haunted theatre.
🎭 We will be telling spooky stories,there WILL be ghosts, team challenges and a midnight feast with all money raised going to St Wilfred's Hospice.
You can come as an individual, or make it a group event and bring your own team - there will be prizes 🏆🏆for the team who wins the most spooky challenges.
