It is with deep sadness that we share with our Chiddfest family the news that Martyn Grenfell lost his battle with cancer on Monday, 31st August.

Martyn was an integral part of hosting Chiddfest alongside Ryan Millns of Ashdown Radio. He was always the voice of reason, the man who saw no such thing as an impossible mission. His unwavering support, enthusiasm and everything he brought to Chiddfest will be greatly missed.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Kim Grenfell, his rock, and to all of Martyn’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Martyn, thank you for everything you gave to Chiddfest and for all the memories you helped create. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten. ❤️
