The end of an era.
Just over ten years ago I opened the Barn. That was after two years of planning with the amazing support of my landlords Lesley and David. Little did I know what an extraordinary decade was in store for me.
So many people embraced my vision of a place which would nurture creativity for all and what a journey it’s been. The classes, workshops, craft sales, gigs, groups, and exhibitions have been truly amazing. Hours and hours of graft – but I wouldn’t change a thing!
Today, as many of you already know, the Barn closes its doors for the last time.
Here is a 90 second reminder of all that The Craft Barn has been over the years.
I simply can’t tag everyone who I want to acknowledge for their support. But you’re all in my heart and I won’t forget every time someone had an encouraging word, shared a post, stuck up a poster, moved a table or passed me a glass of wine and, most importantly, believed in me.
Thank you to every visitor, attendee, and tutor; you made the Barn what it became, it was always your space.
