✨ A little gift to myself today. 💙

After a fantastic yoga class focused on the throat chakra—the energy center of self-expression, authenticity, and speaking your truth—I felt inspired to honor my own voice and self-worth.

What better way to do that than by choosing something beautiful that truly spoke to me? ✨ This stunning earring, created by talented local jewellery artist Emma Adam, caught my eye at the In Studio exhibition after class, and I knew it was meant to come home with me.

Today felt like a reminder that expressing your true voice also means allowing yourself to receive, celebrate yourself, and say, “I deserve this.” 💙

Supporting local artists while practicing a little self-love? That’s a win-win. 😊

We just wanted to say thanks to everyone who dropped into our pop up last weekend - it was lovely to see many familiar faces and we appreciate all your support. We hope you enjoyed seeing what we’ve been working on, and thank you to those who bought gifts.

It's today, Saturday! We are open 11am-4pm at 59 Longcram in Haddington. Thanks to the lovely folks who came to see us yesterday evening, it was busy with lots of chatter and a fair few sales!

Today the mulled wine will be warming, the baking...well it's baked and tasting delicious (we had to sample it last night, for your benefit!). The room is sparkling with lovely handmade glass, ceramics, artworks, cards and jewellery made by Mary Frith, Karen Rogers, Artist, Elaine Edwardson, Emma Adam, Tina Köster and Victoria Murray. Pop in and say hello, we are only a short walk from the centre of Haddington, with on street parking if you need it. Look for the lit up tree and sandwich board by the door.

On to the last minute, boring but essential, bits. Tidying, pricing, baking don’t make good photographs so instead this is one of the last pieces out of the kiln. Those who have been collecting my trees might recognise some parts😂.

Meet Elaine Edwardson jeweller extraordinaire from Collective Jewellery. Elaine loves working with wire as it's such a great material to make light and flexible jewellery. She gets her inspiration from geometric and contemporary designs. Her pieces are refined and she adds her own twist by using a stone or some textures with hammers or her rolling mill. Come along this weekend and treat your loved ones or yourself to one of her beautiful pieces.

There will also be jewellery by Victoria Murray, Tina Köster and Emma Adam, artworks and cards by Karen Rogers, Artist and ceramics and glass by Mary Frith.

Introducing lovely Emma Adam who is part of Collective Jewellery. Our only member based outside East Lothian, but very close in Midlothian. Emma's jewellery is always pretty, whether it's hearts like these ones, butterflies or carefully textured shapes. Emma also adds colour and interest to her work by combining copper and silver. Come along to the In Studio Christmas Pop-up on Friday 12 December 7-9pm and Saturday 13 December 11am-4pm to see her work for yourself. She'll be there with fellow jewellers Tina Köster, Elaine Edwardson and Victoria Murray, as well as Mary Frith and Karen Rogers, Artist.

Less than one week to go!! We are finishing, polishing, firing and framing ready to share our work with you next Friday and Saturday in Haddington. Pop the dates in your diaries, do it now! A warm welcome awaits, accompanied by a glass of mulled wine (or nulled if you prefer) and festive sweet and savoury treats to nibble on while you finish off your Christmas shopping. No doing battle with crowded shops making faceless fat cats richer. Relaxed and sociable, unique gifts made by real local people. Shopping you can feel good about! Introducing the talented Tina Köster who is part of Collective Jewellery. Based outside Haddington, she has been working away to create silver jewellery based on natural forms. At a time when the environment around us is starting to hunker down, Tina is creating pieces inspired by dandelions and petals to brighten up your wardrobe! Come along to the In Studio Christmas Pop-up on Friday 12 December 7-9pm and Saturday 13 December 11am-4pm to see her work for yourself.
