The Guiting Music Festival

The Guiting Music Festival The Guiting Music Festival, started in 1970, features superb classical music, jazz and blues in the beautiful Cotswold village of Guiting Power.

It runs for the last 10 days of July each year. Past festivals have featured such outstanding musicians as Joanna MacGregor, who was festival Hon. President for many years, Natalie Clein, Claire Martin,Le Collectif (now Selmer 607) Lucie Skeaping, Carnival Band, Leonid Gorokhov and Colin Stone, The Belcea Quartet, Elizaveta Kopelman, Peter & Zoltan Katona, The Sorrell Quartet, Jacqueline Dankworth, Najma Akhtar, Gwyneth Herbert, Zoe Rahman and R&B king, Georgie Fame.

Our final day of the festival brings us an unforgettable Blues afternoon with The Manfreds. Featuring the legendary Paul Jones (vocals and harmonica) and Tom McGuinness (vocals and guitar), two original members of Manfred Mann . Experience a thrilling performance packed with iconic hits, dynamic jazz, and powerful blues.
