not long to wait! - Crossing the Tees Book Festival
BUNTING PROJECT With Harriet Mee
GUISBOROUGH LIBRARY 1-4PM WEDNESDAY 13TH MAY

We will be exploring our love of reading and reigniting our love for books. The sessions will be slightly different at each library, so feel free to come to more than one place if you like! No sewing experience is necessary as the sessions are designed to cover many different avenues of creative exploration, including making, drawing, collaging, poetry and needlecrafts.
All sessions are free and drop-in, no need to book

*Workshop 1*: Tuesday 12th May, 6-8pm, Florence Easton Room, Redcar Palace Hub, The Esplanade, Redcar (free but please book a place) - Join K Rowan from the Tees Women Poets to create poems on the theme of 'Wishes on the Wind', which will be woven into a poly-vocal piece for performance at Redcar Kite Festival on 6th and 7th June. You can come and write even if you don't want to be part of the performance, or can only make one of the two performance days. Quotes from our poetry may be used on the festival banners.
