Run by a collective of friends, we're proud to serve our local area with live music and community events from Guildford SOUP to our youth music programme The Project. Duke Special, stage name of Belfast-born musician Peter Wilson, is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter known for theatrical piano pop blending cabaret, folk, and rock. Performing in bowler hats and waistcoats, he built a devoted following with emotionally rich storytelling and vintage flair. His breakthrough album Songs from the Deep Forest (2006) reached the UK Top 40 and earned nominations at the Meteor Music Awards. He later released I Never Thought This Day Would Come (2008) and collaborated with orchestras, theatre projects, and poets. Special has written stage works, including musical adaptations of Huckleberry Finn, and remains admired for live performances.

After recently stepping out with his debut solo single “When You’re Young”, Dave McCabe is heading back on the road this November for a run of UK dates, joined once again by special guest, James Jay Lewis.

Best known as the voice and songwriter behind The Zutons, McCabe’s move into solo territory has already made a strong impression. “When You’re Young” has been tremendously well received and already a firm live favourite.

Earlier this year, McCabe and Lewis played a run of shows together that quickly gathered momentum, with packed rooms and a great response night after night. This new tour builds on that, taking them to more venues across the UK through November and into December.

McCabe’s set draws from material throughout his rich writing career, from Zutons classics, to songs he wrote for other artists and glimpses of his new music, the second of which will be released in advance of the tour.

Jay Lewis is a perfect fit for the bill. A Liverpool-born multi-instrumentalist, he’s worked with Cast and The La's over the years, and has been steadily building his own solo following. With songs that carry a classic, melodic British song-writing style, and his outstanding musicianship, the two team up together both on their own and each other’s music.

The tour kicks off in Barnoldswick on November 5th and wraps up in Liverpool in mid-December, taking in stops in Birmingham, London, Glasgow and more along the way.

Shonen Knife - from Osaka, Japan - formed in 1981 by sisters Naoko & Atsuko long before terms like ‘riot girrrl’ and ‘girl rock’ entered the lexicon, the all-female trio were happily snapping guitar strings to the sound of imported Ramones covers. Like fellow cult Japanese girl group The 5,6,7,8s, Shonen Knife have weathered decades of musical change by adhering to what they know best: belting out their own infectious brand of feelgood pop-punk.

Over the last 40 years they might not have packed out out stadiums but have been credited as a huge influence on alt rock acts from Sonic Youth to Nirvana
Despite years on the road, their enthusiasm for live performances remains a joy to see as they delve into an extensive back catalogue ranging from solid thrash rock through to hit parade melodies.

But key to their success has been a disarming, often slightly surreal, take on their punk and rock influences - and with songs titled Tortoise Brand Pot Cleaner could they ever be accused of taking themselves too seriously?

In 2027, it will be three decades since the release of their debut album, Three Dollar Bill, Y’all$, the record that announced the arrival of one of the most influential bands of the nu-metal era. With Fred Durst and Wes Borland at the centre, Limp Bizkit went on to become global rock stars, delivering anthems including “Nookie”, “Break Stuff” and “Rollin’”.

This tribute celebrates 30 years of Limp Bizkit, bringing the energy, attitude and biggest hits of the band’s explosive career to the stage.

Linkin Park emerged from Southern California in the late 1990s, becoming one of the defining bands of the nu-metal and alternative rock era. Their breakthrough came with 2000’s Hybrid Theory, which became a global phenomenon, selling millions and spawning huge hits including “In the End”, “Crawling” and “One Step Closer”. They followed it with equally successful albums including Meteora and Minutes to Midnight, continually evolving their sound. The band headlined major festivals worldwide and collaborated with artists including Jay-Z on Collision Course. Following Chester Bennington’s death in 2017, Linkin Park returned in 2024 with new music and a new vocalist, Emily Armstrong, beginning another chapter in their remarkable career.

⚡Guests: Evanescent - A Celebration of Evanescense

Evanescence is an American rock band founded in 1994 by singer and keyboardist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody in Little Rock, Arkansas. After releasing independent EPs and a demo CD as a duo in the late 1990s, Evanescence released their debut studio album, Fallen, on Wind-up Records in 2003. Propelled by the success of hit singles including "Bring Me to Life" and "My Immortal", Fallen sold more than four million copies in the US by January 2004, garnering Evanescence two Grammy Awards out of six nominations. They released their first live album and concert DVD, Anywhere but Home, in 2004, which sold over one million copies worldwide.
