Worplesdon Memorial Hall

09/09/2026

Calling all residents, hall users, garden enthusiasts, and community members!! 🪏👩‍🌾👨‍🌾🪴

What would you like to see in a community garden at Worplesdon Memorial Hall?

We’re looking into turning the garden out the front of the hall into a new community garden and would love to hear from local residents and community groups about your ideas, suggestions, and thoughts.

We are looking into applying for a grant to fund the project but will still go ahead if we are unsuccessful in receiving funding.

An open community forum is being held to discuss the project, including what we are thinking of including in the grant.

We would like to hear from members of the community what they would like to see in the garden and any suggestions or ideas you might be able to contribute.

This feedback will help shape our final grant application and we also hope to garner interest in the project as we will need volunteers down the line, whether it is for five minutes or five hours any help you can provide will go a long way!

The forum will be held at Worplesdon Memorial Hall on Friday 25th September at 5pm in the Tovey room.

Cant make it? We’d still love to hear from you!

Please send your ideas, opinions or suggestions to [email protected].

Whether you have a big idea, a small suggestion, or simply an interest in getting involved, your views are very welcome.

Please share this post with anyone in the local community who might like to have their say 🌱
