I’ll be hosting at for Open Mic Night - a friendly session to explore new ideas & show off your work! 🖊️ 🎙️

whether you want to perform or just come & listen, the door is open 🚪

located in Sea View Street, Cleethorpes with easy parking & transport routes 🅿️

because it’s the first evening event, we’re going to experiment with donations for the Open Mic and refreshments 🥤 to make sure it’s as accessible as possible. If it works out, future poetry nights will be run on this basis 🫶🏻

last night’s Soundtrack of Spoken Word was amazing!! 🎤 🎵

i had the pleasure of hosting wonderful poets, plus a lovely musical guest 🎵 and the cutest little pug !!

the band did such a great job working with the speakers to create a great backing, the creativity was just fab!! swipe for some videos 👉🏼

reintroduction time!! i’ve had a little rebrand ✨

for those who don’t know, I’m Holly, a poet from Grimsby. I currently host Escape With Words open mic at .community and I have some exciting new things coming😁

i thought i would make this a catch-all poetry account, and I came up with Communiverse - community & verse, all in one place ✨

the Escape With Words open mic event is still on every 1st Friday of the month & will continue to be advertised on this account. i also have more poetry events & workshops that i will be advertising very soon! 🎤

sorry for any confusion, i’ve been wanting to do this for a while & finally bit the bullet 😅
