The clue's in the name - we don't want to jinx it, but the forecast for Saturday 1st August is currently sitting at 23 degrees and sunshine ☀️

The team behind our restaurant has been working on something a bit different behind the scenes lately.

We love Cleethorpes high street, but let’s be honest, it needs a bit of a lift, and a food offering at The Bobbin has been needed for the last few months.

We saw a great opportunity to do something creative and bring the buzz back, so we’ve officially taken over their kitchen hatch to launch Sear and Social.

It is completely different from what we do at our pizza shop. This is pure, unadulterated comfort food designed to clog your arteries in the best way possible. We are talking massive, cheese-pulling pressed sandwiches, dirty loaded fries, and proper bar snacks.

If you look at the collage, the cheese pull on that toastie is so aggressive it probably needs a restraining order.

We’ve got the Signature Social with beef pastrami, a Fat Mac sandwich which we will probably get sued for eventually because you know exactly what it's ripping off, and some proper filthy sides like the Dirty Masala Bhaji fries.

It is basically the perfect hotspot to grab a nice bit of lunch or to soak up some alcohol. Speaking of cheap beer, with pints at The Bobbin starting from £3.95, it’s pretty competitive for the high street. Frankly, at those prices, you can’t afford not to get pi**ed out of your head at lunch.

Come down to the high street, grab a ridiculously cheap pint, and come order from us at the kitchen hatch.
