Pokemon - as you are aware the release for the 30th anniversary set is next Wednesday, 16th. We are expecting a lot of queues so please read this fully and ensure you follow all the info:

1. One person queuing to hold a space for a group of others is NOT allowed, we will be actively checking this.
2. Chat to the people around you, be nice, we will not allow any unruly behaviour.
3. Keep the noise down to respect those who live nearby, ensure the pavement is passable and keep off the road!
4. If you park round the back of Grim only use the Grim spaces, DO NOT use Resident or other parking spaces.
5. Any disrespect or abuse towards Grim staff will NOT be tolerated.

For purchases and preorders please queue at the front of the shop heading towards Duchess Street, we will be opening at 08.00. Once you have your stuff then exit through the back of Grim.

For preorders - if you can't get in on the day to collect your preorder then don't worry, we'll hang onto it. If someone else is collecting for you then you MUST notify us ahead of time.

All items will be limited to one per person, you cannot purchase items for anyone who is not physically with you. No requests for stock to be kept aside and we cannot respond to messages about stock etc due to the sheer volume we are getting.

Any person not following the above will be told to leave and will refused sales.

As we are all painfully aware, costs are rising and costs such as electricity, rates, insurances, licenses and many other are increasing. At Grim we will still be keeping our prices under RRP to save everyone money however we are needing to look at a couple of things.

The main one is events that are currently priced at £2 such as casual YGO Tuesday, casual mtg, hobby slots, Riftbound casual, SWU casual, Pokemon casual etc. To bring them inline with other events then we are looking at them increasing to £3 so it would be the chance to play for the full duration of the session but for £3 rather than £2. Table costs and other event costs such as tournaments won't be changing at this time and aren't something we are looking at now.

We wanted to let everyone know ahead of time and to get feedback on it from the community, it is still a low cost for the sessions but as always, we want the community involved.

Casual tier event, Premier format, constructed tournament legal deck required. Best of three rounds, 55 minutes per round, number of rounds dependent on number of players. Deck construction:
Exactly 1 leader and exactly 1 base
A minimum 50-card draw deck
A sideboard of up to 10 cards (Note: leaders and bases cannot be included in the sideboard)
All cards must be from sets designated as “Premier-legal,”.
Between the draw deck and sideboard, there can be no more than three (3) copies of any card. For this purpose, a “copy” is any card that shares a title and subtitle with another card, regardless if they have different art, foiling, or graphic design elements.

Program starts Sunday 13.09.26 and runs for two sessions (plus open play session at the end). The final session is on 20.09.26 and the open play session is on 7.09.26. Session start 11.00 and will last up to 3 hours

This booking is for the initial session, each session after that is £2.00 and you can book in advance. You don't need to attend all sessions and you can attend sessions as you feel would benefit you the best. Each session is limited to 4 people.
