🌟 CONTEMPORARY DANCE IS BACK FROM SEPTEMBER 🌟 Our building is still currently under renovation and as such we will be continuing classes outside of our building using other lovely venues in the meantime. Spaces are limited on this one so book ahead - beginners welcome, new students welcome, drop in, can’t wait to see you there and learn some fundamentals and choreo! LEGO IS BACK! 🥳

We’ll be at Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre this Wednesday 12th August delivering two fun LEGO sessions!

CREATIVE BUILDS | 10am - 12pm | Drop-ins welcome no need to book

STOP MOTION ANIMATION | 1pm - 3pm | Places limited so booking required (visit the link in our bio to reserve your spot)

Sessions are suitable for ages 6+ and are £3 per child payable to the reception at the centre 🧱

🌟 BIG NEWS! 🌟

We are absolutely over the moon to share that we’ve been shortlisted for not one, not two, but THREE National Arts and Cultural Education Awards 2026!

🏆 The Inspirational Local Partnership Award
Unseen Arts and recognised for our partnership on the Landmarks and Legends programme, which brought together 1,174 children and young people across North East Lincolnshire to explore, reinterpret and celebrate local heritage through digital art, film, music, theatre, circus and more.

🏆 The Spark the Change Award
Unseen Arts in partnership with and recognised for Brick Futures, which invited children and young people to imagine the future of North East Lincolnshire through LEGO®, animation, ceramics, printmaking and sound and gave their voices a very loud, very public platform.

🏆 The Mighty Roots Award
Unseen Arts recognised as an outstanding grassroots creative organisation making a difference to the cultural and creative life of children and families right here in our community! ❤️

None of this would have been possible without the incredible young people who gave their time, energy, creativity and ideas to both projects- and without the brilliant partners, artists and organisations who believed in what we were doing.

A huge thank you to our partners and every artist, facilitator and young person who has been part of this journey.

The awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 21st October at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Fingers crossed 🤞

Grimsby… are we ready?! Our beautiful new signage is now up ahead of our relaunch, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back through the doors of our arts centre.
