Well…. That didn’t go to plan!

I’ve bought hanks before. But never used them.
Found this merino wool hank at and it’s the perfect colour way for a special project I’m planning….
But….
I totally f***ed up untwisting it! Hahaha 😝

Should have watched a tutorial before I tried to unravel it!! 😩

First Hank took me 90mins to sort! Second ten mins. Hahaha

It’s actually very nice and soft and is lovely to use. And for a merino, it’s very well priced I have to say….

All caked up and ready now, first cake is in progress for a special Christmas gift. 🎁

So… I’ve finally managed to pick this up again….

It’s beautiful yarn - but it’s untwisted so it took some getting used to…. And then I picked up 24 more projects - like we do! Haha.

The yarn is a 3-ply surprise cake from - and I’m nearly at the end now….

An update on the weighted blanket folks….

It’s going ok… keep picking up other products but it’s coming together nicely.

I like this one as it’s not too busy, others with beads every other row seem a bit much to me - but everyone has their preference.
