Gresford Tango

Gresford Tango We are all about genuine, close hold, Argentine tango.Only good traditional music, in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly people.

We are an informal dance group, led by Bob and Viv who hold private lessons at times to suit and who host a semi regular Practica at Gresford Practicas. We are always happy to welcome new dancers, other teachers or anyone who wants to expand (in an inclusive way) the Tango scene in the north west and Wales.

Well not all the time. I have put my foot down and am going to El Beso on Saturday, Viv can stay home and work if she so wishes. First though breakfast at Martinez, it's tradition. We had a good waitress today, the first time ever it was right first time; Cappuccino, Cafe con leche, two Yogurts one without banana. The demise of Azimo caused me no end of worries. My first withdrawal from Western Union I had prepared from home. The company recommended by Azimo did not seem able to answer how I would get cash. Many on the BA Expats site were able to advise me about WU so that is the direction I took. The first withdrawal I was able to print out all the details at home, but still I had problems finding the right place to go, and it was during holiday time so there were big queues....

Nothing to say about the weekend, I danced at El Beso and Viv stayed home Saturday. Sunday I spent the day painting. Hard going up and down steps with a roller, but I finished the ceiling. Viv is in her "no tango every day" mood. So the weekend will be tango free. By the end of Saturday I was climbing the walls, We had visited Silvia, of Asignatura Pendiente. As most days are starting to look the same,I may discontinue my daily posts. After all how many ways can I say Viv struggled and the floor was crowded. So today in Beso Viv struggled and the floor was crowded. We arrived early, it's hard to judge it just right so we got the pick of the seats again.
