Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🌕🏮🥮

Tomorrow’s the full moon🌕 - time to get together, enjoy some mooncakes and celebrate with loved ones ❤️ How are you celebrating?

A new little hand-painted piece I created for TOO MUCH SUGAR FOOD & CO. Mid-Autumn mooncake box this year, featuring their two cats enjoying the moonlight 🐈🐈🌕✨

Meanwhile, the cat I was catsitting was clearly jealous that I was painting other cats 😹She kept staring at them on the painting! 🐱👀👋🏻

Personalised calligraphy bookmarks ✍🏻 for Rebecca Kuang ’s Taipei Story launch at Waterstones Gower Street 📚✨ Thank you The Borough Press HarperCollinsUK Waterstones 🫶🏻

Just read this one and enjoyed it. A thoughtful story about language, heritage and belonging, and how reconnecting with a culture that’s part of your heritage, but doesn’t always feel straightforward.

A relatable read for anyone who’s ever felt caught between cultures. 📖✨

Live Chinese calligraphy at County Hall, London✍🏻✨ County Hall Arts (CHA)

As part of Dance Meets Arts, I had the pleasure of joining a beautiful evening where different forms of art and culture came together, from tea ceremony, Tai Chi and painting to different styles of dance and live music.

For our 2 minute live collaboration, performed 鶴舞 (Crane Dance) while I wrote 舞 (wǔ), meaning “dance”, in Chinese calligraphy. 🖌️💃🏻

With the River Thames, Big Ben and the London Eye as our backdrop, it was such a special setting for this creative performance.

So lovely to see art and culture come together. ❤️
