Today, while finishing my Magic Work at Stepping Hill Hospital, I was amazed to see a full-page spread in the celebrating my new costume, 40 years of family clowning legacy, and the special moment of my dad putting his clown costume back on for my birthday last week. ❤️🤡

Even more magical, it was my very first day wearing the new costume at Stepping Hill, and Alexis McKeating loved it! 🥰

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

Look out for tomorrow’s , where Louby Lou will be featured in a full-page spread celebrating 40 years of clowning, community, and smiles!

The feature also tells the story of my wonderful dad, Arnold “Trumble the Clown” Cheetham, who first introduced me to the world of clowning when I was just six years old. Everything I know, I learned from him, and I’m so proud to be carrying on the family tradition that he started all those years ago. ❤️🤡

This celebration isn’t just about me – it’s about a father passing on his passion, bringing joy to generations of children, and the special memories we’ve created together along the way😂🙏

There aren't many people who can say they've made a living from being a clown, but there aren't many people like Lucy Wilkinson 🤡

For 40 years now she's been entertaining families, following in her dad Arnold Cheetham's chunky footsteps since she was just six years old.

Known as Trumble the clown, he taught her 'all the tricks of the trade' and she quickly made a success of her own character Louby Lou, dressed in a purple polka dot dress with a bright pink apron, a yellow wig and her trademark love heart on the end of her nose ❤️

The pair have been there for many a milestone over the years and Lucy has been a familiar face on children's wards including at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Stepping Hill after investing in specialist training to help entertain sick children and those with special needs.

And while clowns aren't as popular as they once were - 'there were a lot of them about' in Arnold's heyday - one thing that hasn't changed is their ability to bring happiness wherever they go 🥰

This film means so much to me ❤️

It tells the story of a family legacy that began 40 years ago with my dad bringing laughter and joy to children as a clown, and how that legacy continues today.

So here we go… the new outfit is out! ✨

What an unbelievable night, one we’ll remember forever. We are both absolutely bursting with ❤️ right now.

I didn’t really know where to start with this post because all I keep saying is… THANK YOU🙏❤️

To everyone who came along last night, shared the evening with us, supported us, laughed with us, sang with us and made it so special, thank you from the bottom of our ♥️
