UKSH BUSINESS MEETING AGENDA 19.09.26

The UKSH business meeting will take place after singing on Saturday 19 September. Please stay and have your say on the following items:

* Reviewing 2025 business meeting minutes & accounts (https://www.ukshc.org/business-meeting-minutes/)

* Locations committee – Set out existing terms and ask for volunteers for future years if needed (it is a 3 year rolling commitment with an upper limit of 6 years).

* Location 2027 – update from London

* Submissions for 2028 location

* The need for income generation to support UK-wide Sacred Harp activities e.g. the Convention and the newsletter

* Code of Conduct – update

Time for the meeting will be strictly enforced by the limitations of the venue hire, so we may not be able to cover all items / go into detail but we’ll cover what we can.

A question to the parents who bring children to singings: what would be helpful for you at the UKSH Convention?

We have allocated a room, just off the main singing room (alas, it must also double as a cloakroom. Few things in life are perfect - we'll manage).

What would you hope to find in it?

Helpful feedback sought (Narnia jokes welcome).
