On Wednesday we returned to one of our regular clients who invited us to celebrate World Culture Day with them!

We painted glass wind chimes known as ‘Furin’ or 風鈴.

These delicate chimes are especially popular in Japan during summer, as their soft sound is thought to bring a refreshing sense of coolness and calm. 🍉

We continued with our silk fan painting, The topic of the day was beautiful summer flowers. Camellias, roses, and lilies. 🌹

Floating Art at The British Museum. 🏛️

Last week we both travelled to London for something that we’ve been incredibly excited about for weeks and weeks!

invited to along to be a part of their late opening which showcased their huge and wonderous Hiroshige exhibition!

We were asked to host some fan painting sessions and challenged by the task of hosting 60 people over two hours.

We’ve been lucky enough to work in some beautiful settings over the years we can’t help but wonder where our job will next take us?

Thank you to everyone who participated and sorry to those of you who queued up but missed out, we hope to be back in London again sometime soon. 💛
