I hand-make Screenprints and stock locally printed Risograph wall art and greetings cards, all designed by me.

On Friday I visited the Disbury Parsonage, to see the Summer Exhibition, where my Slinky screenprint is being displayed until July 20th 🌞

The exhibition is really cool, set in the three different rooms in the Parsonage, definitely worth a visit if you can, the building and surrounding gardens are beautiful too 🌈

Thanks to Hannah, Nan and the rest of the DAF team for organising a lovely event, really happy to be selected for it alongside other amazing artists✨

I’ll be at in Manchester this Sunday for the Print and Zine Fair from 11-4 🌞

Come and say hi, there will also be music, food and drinks available, as well as a vintage clothes sale ✨

Went to last night and exposed a couple of screens for a new print ✨

I haven’t been for so long… the last new thing I printed was my Christmas cards, oops! 😅

Excited to get some printing done this weekend and then get my next print prepped next week 🤞

Hoping I just needed a bit of a Spring reset, the longer days are definitely helping me feel more energetic and motivated 🌞

So I kinda stopped posting for but I loved the challenge and thought I’d still do the last prompt ‘Product Story’ a little late 😅

My cat design is one of my favourites and the design I have grown into the biggest collection, and it all started as a 2am phone doodle when I couldn’t sleep 🩵

I cleaned up the design on Illustrator and since then have screenprinted and risograph printed 100s of cards (spot the tails on the back of the cards) ✨

Screenprinted two different cat print designs in lots of variations 🌈

Developed the design into my first pin badge which I got made in two colours😻

And got my latest edition of Neon Cats Risograph printed at the end of last year 🌞

I’m thinking stickers next if anyone has any good recommendations for sticker printers let me know 💖

I loved seeing everyone’s posts over the last month, well done if you managed from start to finish 💙

Yesterday’s was Details/Variant, so I thought it would be fun to show how I’ve developed my Koi Pond over the years 🎏

The first version I printed myself at on their beginner risograph course. I chose to print in green and orange and it turned out so cool, but overall I worried I went a bit hard on the orange layer so lost some details on the fish 💚

Once they had sold out I created my second version which is in my shop at the moment, I updated the design adding more details and changing some things around but if you swipe you can see the same layout on both ❤️

This time I went for Fluro Red and Light Teal and this came out so pretty, if I sell out maybe I’ll deign a new version, in some new colours 🌈

Today’s prompt is Aim ✨

My aim for 2025 is to make more prints and cards, everything feels a bit slow for me at the moment as work is really busy, but I’m hoping with the longer daylight hours and with warmer weather on the way, I can start making some of the prints I have planned very soon 🩵

Excited to do some more screenprinting and experimenting and hopefully make some fun things to share with you all 🌈

Today is day 6, of and today’s prompt is Tools & Materials, as a screenprinter I have lots of go to tools! 🎨

🩵 My trustee wooden squeegee, I have a few different sizes and my faves are from

🩵 A craft knife for making paper stencils, I actually fine this one quite hard to hold, so would love some recommendations if you have a good one

🩵 Paintbrushes which I use for my painterly screenprints, also helpful for small patch up jobs on a print

🩵 Paint, (usually neon) I have tried lots of different paints over the years, here’s a few of my faves

🩵 Silkscreen, in screenprinting you can get screens in aluminium or wood, I prefer the aluminium as I find them more sturdy, also from or

🩵 Then the most important screenprinting tool, TAPE! You can’t get anywhere without a good roll of low tack Parcel tape, to tape off areas of your screen you don’t want to print and a roll of masking tape, to tape down your acetate and print markers for registration

These are some of my screenprinting must haves, can’t wait to see what everyone else uses 🌞

prompt two is Style, I always find this question hard to answer 😅

My style is all about shapes, building them up to reveal animals, plants or structures ranging in abstractness 💙

My work ranges from the graphic vectors of my Risograph Prints to the painterly feel of my Screenprints 🌞

I am a printmaker and I love the messiness, creativity and challenges this can bring. Also nothing beats the bright neon inks, you can get using these techniques 😍

This year I’m taking part in March Meet the Maker, prompt one is Brand Reintroduction ✨

I started Abi Prints back in 2020 after learning how to screenprint at Hot Bed Press in 2019 💙

I create work from my home studio (aka half of my bedroom) in Prestwich, Manchester 🥲

Abi Prints is my creative outlet which came from a need to create physical work after spending so much time at the computer for my day job in the Animation Industry 🌞

I always try to experiment and push my style as well as my technical abilities, to create fun and unique designs based on what is inspiring me in the moment ✨

I love colour, especially neon, I find it so hard when picking final colours to choose just one, so I usually end up with two or three variations of my designs 🌈

Lovely to see so many markers posts already, I can’t wait to get to know you all better 💖
