Frame - Our customer wanted a darker frame but still a natural wood, so we agreed on a walnut moulding with a walnut stain and dark wax. Something I’ll be using myself in the future!

This image already had a white boarder so we went for spacers instead of any mounting options, this helped keep the cost down but still protecting the limited edition artwork over time.

Frame choice - We created a limewash affect. As Liming looks most effective in lighter colour woods we opted for a tulip moulding to create a Vibrant decorative finish.

We discussed various options for the mount, but decided on a traditional window mount over a float mount as it suited the artwork, drawing the viewer’s eye to the artwork and adding depth and visual interest.

It also protects the artwork from damage by creating a space between the artwork and the glass, preventing moisture, dust, and accidental contact from damaging the art.
