evision for College back in 2014. I immediately wished I had one, not just to escape the exams but all sorts of other stress. I found that by just listening to the Hang I was always able to cleanse my mind thanks to its beautiful overtones and resonate notes. Well, I was shocked to discover that Hangs or 'Handpans' were sold at extortionate prices! I looked for alternatives but still, if it wasn't a handpan that was poorly tuned and aesthetically unattractive, it was the standard handpan being sold for up of £1200 - and these were just standard models! Now, along with a team of musicians and musical instrument manufacturers based in Europe and Asia, I manufacture and organise affordable, quality and quick-delivery handpans from the UK. The production process involves the team purchasing the relevant resources, shaping them to the specific dimensions and sizes of the handpans requested and then tuning the drums (which is what I help with). I also help transport these instruments, sometimes by carrying them as personal items back from Asia or by getting them specially sent over to the UK. I once only listened to these beautiful instruments to relax and transcend from one world to another, but now I play them and can assuredly say that these are by far the most inspiring musical instruments that I have ever played (and I play several different traditional instruments).
