THIS SUNDAYS WALK & TALK
This Sunday, we will be holding a special walk and talk in memory of our friend, Sam.
Following the heartbreaking and tragic news of Sam’s passing, we wanted to create a space where our community can come together, walk together, talk together and remember Sam for the inspirational person he was.
Sam was known to many through his work with School History Visits and previously as the face of Freshly Greated, as well as through the many friendships and connections he made within our community, the community he loved.
We know our local community has its differences. We don’t always agree — politically, socially and on many other issues, we can sometimes find ourselves on very different sides……
But there is something that can affect every single one of us, regardless of our views, beliefs, background or circumstances:
And that’s Mental health.
None of us are immune to difficult times. None of us know what someone else may be carrying. And none of us should feel that they have to face those difficult moments alone.
So on Sunday, we are asking you all to put your differences aside and come together to support each other in Sam’s memory.
We warmly welcome MPs, councillors, community groups, charities, faith and religious groups, local organisations, businesses, friends, families and individuals — whatever your background, beliefs or affiliations.
It’s about remembering Sam and it’s about reminding one another that we should look out for each other and never be afraid to ask, “Are you okay?”
There will be an opportunity during the walk to share memories of Sam, reflect together and remember the impact he had on those around him which by the outpouring of love on social media today you can see his impact was immeasurable in a positive way. Every person he met left leaving happier and he could literally light up the biggest rooms with his personality and warmth.
Refreshments will be provided.
Whether you knew Sam for years, worked alongside him, were a friend, or simply crossed paths with him, you are welcome to join us.
Let’s come together, walk together and remember Sam together.

Meeting Point: Marine Parade Car Park Meeting Point, Gorleston On Sea.
We will have flowers on the day, you are welcome to bring your own, but please no balloons, Chinese lanterns or other non biodegradable items, we want to show support and love, we don’t want to damage the area or hurt any wild or marine life.
