Well we were two lucky clowns this summer.

It was fantastic to be supported by the 4 Nations Bursary scheme to develop this very silly piece of outdoor theatre and tour it across the UK - meeting beautiful friends along the way, having moments of hilarious and heartwarming interaction with generous audience members and finding our feet as a budding outdoor arts company.

We’re already having serious business meetings (🍷) about the 2023 season.

I wonder how far across the globe our Roving Court could administer justice? 🧐

We love the outdoor arts sector for many reasons, including its open-access inclusivity. We made important connections this summer and are excited to see what possibilities are ahead, and what new absurdity we could offer the world 🤡🥳

Accusations and trials abounded at with this weekend 😅👩‍⚖️
Folks accused family members, gave evidence against other festival goers and our child jury handed down inventive sentences. Defendants obediently approached the bench where The Right Honorable Ms ‘I can find anybody guilty’ Titebottom and the best defence lawyer in NYC fought it out on the courtroom floor.

More justice was brought just last week to the streets of and ! What a public service we provide 😀

The first ever performance of ‘The Roving Court’!
Thank you to our willing and oh-so-playful audience, we had so much fun defending and incriminating you in equal measure 👩‍⚖️ and thanks to commissioning partner Harrow Arts Centre

The Court will Rove again all over the UK this summer. So many guilty people to be found 😛

8 also Guilty! Sentenced by his own son to perform an interpretive ‘sorry’ dance
9 oh dear… looks like something went wrong for the Judge herself

Just two policewomen in their trolley - the warm up act for the Judge and Lawyer who will follow shortly after to sentence those arrested members of the public and find them guilty 👩‍⚖️
(I mean, give them a fair trial..)

Very excited to bring the first interration of our outdoor family comedy ‘The Roving Court’ to Harrow Arts Centre on Saturday, in which children will form a jury and help the judge pronounce appropriate sentences on their adults!

So, remember when we told you that we had an idea to trial parents for their naughty childhood crimes by a jury of children?

Parents be afraid, be very afraid.

Thanks to generous support from Harrow Arts Centre, Out There Arts, Surge and partners… justice can and WILL be served!

We had a blast delivering a rebellious HRH to the good people of London Fields. Some wanted to read the small print after they signed for it (but she’s yours now ;) ) and some suggested dumping her in the Lido paddling pool. Catch the promo reel soon.

🌼 Spring is in the air and we can’t wait to get performing at festivals and events this summer 🌼

We’re excited to have 4 very silly, surreal outdoor acts to offer this season. We’re currently working hard on our marketing pack to get these booked 💪

There’s always a moment to pause and recreate a statue though 😅

In this confusing and scary time, we’re yelling a Happy Belated to all the wonderful, funny women we know and have yet to meet.

Our thoughts are also with all of the women in the and their families.

Whilst the situation the world is in right now is the furthest thing from funny, humour can be a lifeline. It can be a powerful resource in your arsenal when everything is going to sh*t.

For everyone’s sake, keep making ‘em laugh ladies.

The wait is over!! 🥳

…for all those wondering what ridiculous thing we will do next 😂

Yes this very Saturday with Applecart Arts we will be dressing as potatoes and carrying a couch around Newham.

Why?

Our new and possibly silliest act sees two Couch Potatoes looking for excercise advice (or just a chat) from the general public, as part of , the 10 year anniversary of the Olympics in East London.
