Hey!

I’m so sorry for disappearing again, I am trying my best to keep on here as often as I can from now on. It’s even in my daily planner😂😂

With me going awol, we’ve missed a lot of the last collection, so I want to go back to the finished cupcake!

It was my first crumb/ sponge design and the texture was very important! As well as the smooth buttercream.

I picked blue icing.. well more like teal.. as I wanted a few varied colours in the collection rather than all beige and pink/red.

This collection was for me! I think that’s why I enjoyed it so much too 🥰

I chose blue icing, so it was a little different to the other pieces and a nice bright colour too.

Although a slightly different blue, I love teals ( a few of them were used) and I think it’s come out rather pretty!

Next up on the cakes/ dessert list is a cupcake!!

I wanted something simple but yet texturally quite difficult! Every new collection I do, tests me in some ways, whether it’s highlights/ shadows, textures, colour combos etc.

I think it’ll be worth it though, I’m really excited for this collection to come together.

We are currently half way through our third piece but I’ll show you the stages of this one over the next few days 🥰xx

The donut was quite hard at first with the icing, it seemed too dark especially with the outline.. however it’s something I always do and once it was all complete, the outlines really tied it other xx

The last piece of our aquatic collection, was this lovely axolotl! I wasn’t sure how this one would go, with the transparency and creating this effect through colours. However, I was quite pleased with it in the end.

With the printed products, this one is my favourite on the mugs! It’s printed so well and works beautifully with the other two pieces 🥰xx

As part of the last series, we completed a jellyfish drawing! So much of this series was hard work.. particularly this one. Trying to get the details in the blue and the perspective right!

This particular piece printed really well and surprised me to be honest 😂🙈

With every collection, I always consider the colours of each piece, the composition, the angle etc…to make sure they work individually and together on a mug.

I actually think this collection is the best for that reason! Wait till you see all the cards together ❤️ xx

As you can see, we have lots of mugs now!! So we have 3 mug designs from the aquatic collection as well as two from the British wildlife one! This is the first time these 5 have come out❤️

The ones after are to replace stock🥰

I love having 3 designs on a mug, with two blocks of colour. It’s different from anything I’ve seen and it reminds me of a film strip!

I have a couple of each, except the Orangutang☺️ each one is from my original coloured pencil drawings!! Xx
