It is a part of our British heritage and stooped with history. A building that despite its years has been a care-taker and story-teller of many and has seen an eclectic mixture of people walk through the doors. Come and eat, drink and enjoy time together.

In case you missed it...

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of being joined on Harbour Radio by the wonderful Chantelle from paradigm-neurodiversity.uk , a newly registered local charity doing incredible work to support neurodivergent children, young people, adults and families across our community.

It was fascinating to hear more about their neuro-affirming approach, helping people understand themselves, embrace their strengths and feel confident being their authentic selves.

The real highlights for me, though, were hearing from Emilia and her mum, and Iris and her mum.
Their honesty, openness and positive energy were infectious. I can't quite moonwalk as well as Iris, but I certainly enjoyed trying! πŸ’ƒ

Listening to their experiences and hearing how Paradigm has supported them genuinely made my heart smile. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen, understood and accepted for who they are.

I'm already looking forward to welcoming Chantelle back to the studio and digging a little deeper into ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), which Paradigm uses to help children and young people develop confidence, flexibility and self-understanding.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their stories.
